Ryutetsu Nagareyama Line

The Ryutetsu Nagareyama Line is a local railroad line with over 100 years of history. First opening in 1916, it continues to carry passengers to and from Nagareyama Station in Nagareyama to Mabashi Station in Matsudo to this day. Nicknamed the “Ryutetsu” by the locals, it spans a total of 5.7 km across 6 stations, taking around 12 minutes to ride in its entirety.
Known as “the closest local railroad line to the heart of the city,” five brightly colored trains actively run on the Ryutetsu Line, each with its own unique nickname. The retro ambiance of the station and the vintage trains clattering along the tracks offer passengers a nostalgic trip back in time.
