Risoukai Memorial Natural Park

A great spot to go birdwatching!

About a 10 minute walk from Unga Station (TOBU URBAN Park Line), this park is a beautiful location to take a scenic stroll through nature. Located on the campus of Tokyo University of Science, it first opened in 1980, built in honor of the 100th anniversary of the university.

Built on 130,000 squared-meters of land, Risoukai Memorial Natural Park is lush with trees and ponds, and is a great place to go birdwatching and look for endangered plants.

Visiting during each season of the year brings a new surprise, like the plum groves, water lilies, and cherry blossoms that grow during the spring, the autumn leaves in the fall, and over 100 mallards that visit the area during the winter.
