Tone Unga: Cherry Blossom Spots!

1. Unga Waterside Park

A great place to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms during both the day and night! From 6 PM to 9 PM, a magnificent light-up display lights up the petals of 15 cherry blossom trees, which elegantly reflects off of the surface of the canal.

2. Choubou no Oka

This viewpoint is the highest point in the Tone Unga area, allowing you to get a stunning view of the 130 cherry blossom trees and canola flowers that grow alongside the canal.

3. Niodori Park

A 20 minute walk from Unga Station (TOBU URBAN Park Line), Niodori Park is the perfect place to have a picnic surrounded by cherry blossoms!

4. Risoukai Memorial Natural Park

Nestled in an area lush with greenery, a cherry blossom tree grows over “Hyotan Ike” (Gourd Pond). The elegant reflection of the flowers on the pond’s surface offers a very picturesque view.
